Stephan Rettenberger

As SVP of marketing and corporate communications at Adtran, Stephan is holds responsibility for the external marketing and global positioning of Adtran’s portfolio of open connectivity solutions. Stephan joined Adtran in 2023 following the company’s business combination with ADVA. He regularly makes appearances at industry and investor conferences and has accrued more than 20 years of experience in the telecom industry. 

Before joining Adtran, Stephan was SVP of marketing and investor relations at ADVA. He was responsible for communicating with financial markets and successfully strengthened the company’s brand. Before that, he worked for Marconi Ondata GmbH (now Ericsson) and was responsible for introducing and positioning their next-generation optical networking solutions. Stephan holds a master’s degree in physics from the Technical University, Munich, Germany.
