Mike Heffner

Mike Heffner became GM of Adtran Edge Cloud in 2023. In this role, he’s responsible for Adtran’s strategy around packet edge networking, edge computing and network virtualization solutions. Mike’s focus includes defining competitive product and commercial strategy, market evangelism, new customer acquisition and strategic partnerships to enhance Adtran’s go-to-market capabilities.

Before joining Adtran, Mike was GM of Edge Cloud at ADVA. He joined the company in 2016 as part of the Overture Networks acquisition and previously served as VP of PLM for the virtual edge cloud portfolio. Mike’s long career in telecoms spans roles in R&D, product marketing, and product management, including stints at Nortel, Motorola, Tektronix and Oracle. He has a degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University.
