Michael Sumitra

Michael Sumitra is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications across business support systems, operational support systems, contact centers, access networks, and residential and business networking solutions. As Adtran’s solutions marketing manager, Michael is responsible for thought leadership, solutions marketing, and public and media relations for Adtran’s residential and business Wi-Fi solutions.

Previously, Michael led solutions marketing and media relations efforts for multiple Adtran product lines, including its Mosaic cloud services, 10G fiber access portfolio, Gfast solutions and Metnet 60G fixed wireless access technology. What’s more, he has also spearheaded industry marketing efforts targeting the MDU and cable MSO markets. Before joining Adtran, Michael was part of corporate marketing at Concentrix and also gained valuable experience at Mahindra Satyam, a leading IT services company.

Michael holds a master’s degree in literature from the University of Hyderabad. He also has a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s in business administration from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
