Stephan Neidlinger

Stephan Neidlinger plays a crucial role in promoting and shaping Adtran’s innovative portfolio of open connectivity solutions. As VP of application and solution management, Stephan is responsible for creating and managing Adtran’s solutions, positioning them effectively in the marketplace and developing the company’s position as an industry leader. Before joining Adtran, Stephan worked at ADVA, promoting and shaping the company’s product line. Stephan is one of the founding members of the WDM PON Forum and a member of CableLabs’ working groups.

Stephan has acquired extensive telecommunications experience, spending 16 years at Siemens (now part of Nokia), where he held several research, development, business and product line management positions. He worked extensively on developing a range of networking technologies, including fiber-in-the-loop, hybrid fiber coax, twisted pair, metro and backbone DWDM systems and passive optical networks. Stephan earned a master’s and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where he researched coherent optical transmission systems.
